About us
California Graduate Institute and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology entered into a formal alliance in late 2008—uniting our institutions into the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit university dedicated exclusively to psychology education and training. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and an active member of the National Council of Schools and Programs of Professional Psychology, which has twice recognized the university for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to cultural diversity and advocacy. The school is the only professional psychology school named to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll, the highest federal recognition a school can achieve for leadership in helping to build a culture of service and civic engagement.
