Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) proudly announces the launch of a new continuing education webinar, Chronic Disease Management and Strategies for Success, designed and facilitated by Dr. Ronke Komolafe, DBH, MBA. The Chronic Disease Management and Strategies for Success webinar addresses integrated chronic disease management, including chronic conditions’ economic and financial impacts. The webinar is available online, on-demand, and offers one (1) hour of CE credit provided by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 6 in 10 adults in the United States have a chronic disease, and 4 in 10 adults have two or more chronic conditions (2022). The Chronic Disease Management and Strategies for Success webinar describes the impact of chronic conditions on an individual, the economy, and the strategies providers and individuals can take to prevent and successfully manage chronic conditions. Participants in the webinar will learn how to identify economic and financial impacts of chronic conditions, develop strategies to prevent chronic conditions, create strategies to manage chronic conditions, and defile chronic conditions intervention measurements and outcomes
The Chronic Disease Management and Strategies for Success webinar is designed and facilitated by Dr. Ronke Komolafe, DBH, MBA. Dr. Ronke Komolafe is an executive leader with over 15 years of healthcare experience creating business value through systemic programs, evaluation, strategic planning, market expansion, product development, and revenue generation.
