Exploring the W’s of Integrated Healthcare
December 13, 2019
In the Fall 2019 academic term, we offered the course DBH 9015, Business Practices for the Biodyne Entrepreneur, a requirement within the Entrepreneurship pillar of the Doctor of Behavioral Health program curriculum.
DBH 9015 addresses legal, ethical, and business considerations associated with the professional practice of Doctors of Behavioral Health. Professional ethical standards and codes of ethics are compared and contrasted and special attention is given to models of management and organizational leadership, financial and legal considerations in structuring a business, and legal requirements in healthcare practice. Emphasis is given to professional development and entrepreneurial opportunity as a Doctor of Behavioral Health.
As the academic term comes to a close, we’d like showcase our student’s work illuminating the the five W’s of integrated healthcare. We invite you to enjoy three presentation decks authored by DBH candidates, Kiley Hoffman, Andreena Jackson, Katarzyna Motylewicz, and William Penney, available below.
