CGI Awarded the Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health

Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) has been recognized as a 2026 Gold recipient of the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America (MHA), the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health, well-being, and prevention. The Bell Seal is a national certification that recognizes employers committed to creating mentally healthy workplace cultures and supporting employee well-being.

The 2026 recognition reflects CGI’s continued commitment to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes mental health, flexibility, support, and employee well-being across the organization. As an institution dedicated to advancing integrated behavioral health education, CGI views workplace mental health as an essential part of its mission and organizational values.

“The Doctor in Behavioral Health (DBH) program has changed my understanding of the subject and career path. Before this academic journey, my knowledge of behavioral health was primarily theoretical, including essential ideas and methods. However, the DBH curriculum combined intense academic research with practical application, helping me understand behavioral health from multiple angles. Recognizing mental health as part of total health changed my perspective. The biopsychosocial model, which showed how biological, psychological, and social variables affect mental health, was stressed in the DBH curriculum.
