Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) is proud to announce its continued participation in the fifth annual Mental Health Action Day, taking place on Thursday, May 15, 2025. This global initiative, spearheaded by MTV Entertainment Studios and TaskForce, aims to shift the conversation from mental health awareness to tangible action.
This year, the movement has expanded to include over 2,700 organizations, brands, government agencies, and cultural leaders from more than 32 countries, all united in empowering individuals to take meaningful actions for their mental health.
CGI will engage its community by sharing resources through its website, newsletters, podcast, continuing education platform, and social media channels, encouraging actions such as dedicating time for self-care, supporting loved ones, and advocating for systemic changes in mental health care.
“Participating in Mental Health Action Day aligns with our mission to advance integrated behavioral health education and practice,” said Melissa McGurgan, Senior Director of Marketing at CGI. “We are committed to providing our community with tools and resources that translate awareness into tangible actions.”
