QABA® Board Approved Autism Core Knowledge Course Now Enrolling at Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies

Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) proudly announces the launch of a new online, QABA® board-approved course, Domain A, providing an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the physical and mental health conditions commonly associated with ASD. Emphasis is placed on how biopsychosocial context can impact an individual’s access to ASD diagnosis and treatment and how integrated care can be tailored to promote more effective, timely, person-centered care to people on the Autism Spectrum. The online course is open to the general public and anyone interested in learning about ASD. The Domain A course can serve as a bridge course for those missing the Autism Core Knowledge required by QABA®.
Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies is an approved QBA Coursework Provider by Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA®). The Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA®) is an internationally-accredited credentialing agency dedicated to ensuring the highest standard of care among professionals providing applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services.
The course was designed by CGI alumna Dr. Liliane de Aguiar-Rocha, DBH, BCBA, QBA, MCPC, a Licensed Behavior Analyst. Dr. Rocha has extensive experience with ABA, quality improvement, and crisis intervention/management training. She has broad interests in behavior analysis, particularly its application in integrated care. Her research interests include Behavioral Economics, Autism, and integrated care implementation. She is the CEO of The Behavior Web, where she provides consultation to local schools and hospitals and international consultation in Brazil, her native country.
