Partnership Expands Educational Opportunities for Behavioral Health Professionals Serving Neurodiverse and Underserved Communities
Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI) is pleased to announce a new Tuition Assistance Partnership with Purple Wellness Counseling, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to affirming mental health, wellness, and advocacy services for underserved populations.
Through this partnership, eligible Purple Wellness Counseling employees and affiliated professionals will receive tuition assistance benefits when applying to and enrolling in CGI’s Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) degree program.
Purple Wellness Counseling is a neurodiverse mental health nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable mental health, wellness coaching, and professional advocacy services to Queer, neurodivergent, disabled, and other underserved communities across the American Midwest.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes through integrated, whole-person approaches to care and leadership development.

Designed for working professionals, the fully online doctoral program emphasizes leadership, healthcare innovation, population health, and integrated behavioral healthcare.
By creating educational pathways for professionals working directly with underserved communities, the partnership aims to strengthen the behavioral health workforce and expand access to advanced training for those committed to advancing equitable care.
The partnership creates an immediate pathway for eligible Purple Wellness Counseling professionals to pursue advanced education in integrated behavioral healthcare.
