New Podcast Episode Explores How Ethical Marketing Builds Trust and Improves Access to Behavioral Health Care
In the latest episode of Disruptors at Work: An Integrated Care Podcast, special host Dr. Brandy K. Biglow, Doctor of Behavioral Health (DBH) program alumna at Cummings Graduate Institute for Behavioral Health Studies (CGI), is joined by Dr. Jeremy Henderson-Teelucksingh, CGI DBH program alum and Kat Vasquez for a conversation about the role of marketing in behavioral healthcare. They discuss how clear, ethical, and patient-centered marketing can help providers build trust, reduce confusion, strengthen their brand, and connect more people with the care they need. The conversation also explores the unique challenges behavioral health professionals face when promoting their services, the importance of visibility and accessibility, and practical ways organizations can improve their messaging without losing sight of their mission. By reframing marketing as an extension of care, this episode shows how thoughtful communication can support stronger patient engagement, better access, and more meaningful health outcomes.
